京都ゼミ。毎年恒例になっている、秋のゼミ旅行。
2023年11月に京都とその周辺にゼミ旅行に行ってきました。
このゼミ旅行の目的は、文化財建造物から近現代建築まで、大学では味わえない空間体験をすること、そして建築の技術に触れることで、建築の教養と理解を深めることにあります。それと、関西在住のOBOGとの懇親も。４年生から大学院生まで、入れ代わり立ち代わり延べ15名以上が参加しました。
3月に卒業・修了する予定の学生にとって、これが最後のリフレッシュ。この後は研究に全力を注いでいました。
個人的には２０年以上ぶりに来た伊根集落もよかった。

年末に平野研からのOB・OGさんとの交流会が開催されました。
毎年開催されているこの会は平野先生の「社会に出て数年後、必ず、先輩や後輩とのつながりが大事になる」という言葉から始まったそうです。
私たちが知らなかった、昔の工四の様子や実際に社会で働かれている様子を聞くことが出来てとても楽しかったです。来年もぜひ参加したいと思います！

Fellowship with Graduating Students was held. It began with Dr. Hirano’s words, “A few years after graduating, it will be important to connect with seniors and juniors”. I enjoyed hearing about the old college life and their work.

学部３年生を対象としたゼミ形式の授業が10月から２ヶ月間行われています。
今年は、研究室ＯＢの紹介があり、広島県廿日市市地御前でカキ養殖・販売を行っている「世良水産」さんのリノベーションプロジェクトが進行しています。
廿日市市は世界文化遺産である宮島・厳島神社が位置する町ですが、観光客の滞在時間が短いことや、夜間のアクティビティーがないことが課題となっています。そこで世良水産では、社屋内にオイスターバー（仮）を設けるリノベーションプロジェクトを計画しました。
オイスターバー（仮）はこの冬にオープンの予定ですが、学部３年生は一部エリアに家具等の企画提案を行います。
先日は世良水産さんを訪問して、ヒアリングや実測の調査を行いました。

Seminar-style classes for third-year undergraduates are held for two months from October.
This year, an alumnus of our laboratory has introduced us to a renovation project by SERA Suisan, a company that cultivates and sells oysters in Jigozen, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
Hatsukaichi City is a town where Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine, which are World Heritage Sites, are located. However, the short stay of tourists and the lack of nighttime activities pose challenges. Therefore, SERA Suisan has planned a renovation project to set up the Oyster bar in the company building.
The Oyster Bar is scheduled to open this winter, so the third year undergraduate students will propose furniture in some areas.
The other day, we visited Sera Suisan and conducted a hearing and survey.

先日、6月に活動を行った大崎上島リノベーションプロジェクトについての記事を広島大学HPに記載していただきました。
6月の活動は大崎上島のイベントにいくつか参加させていただくことで、地域住民の方たちと接する機会をたくさんいただきました！
また、私たちは地域の方から部材をいただいて、島のものを使って改修を進めようと考えています。
7月からは本格的に工事が始まっているので建物の中の様子も少しづつ変わってきています。
暑い時期が続いていますが、体調には気を付けながら作業を進めていきます！

We recently received an article on the Hiroshima University website about the Osaki-Kamijima Renovation Project, where we conducted activities in June.
Our activities in June gave us many opportunities to interact with local residents by participating in several events on Osaki-Kamijima!
We are also looking to get parts and materials from the local community and use region items in our renovations.
Construction has been in full swing since July, so the inside of the building is changing little by little.
Although the hot weather is continuing, we will continue to work while taking care of our physical condition!

広島では学生主体の卒業設計展である、広島平和祈念卒業設計展が毎年３月に開催されています。ヒロソツとも呼ばれています。
そんなヒロソツにおいて、学部４年生の山田紘平君（現在、博士課程前期）が、広島平和祈念卒業設計展「原浩二賞」と広島平和祈念卒業設計展「市民賞」を受賞しました。おめでとうございます。
